Derek Carr was among players and coaches available to the media at day four of the Oakland Raiders OTA’s on Tuesday. It came as no surprise that the topic of his looming contract extension was at the forefront of the questions asked.
Unfortunately, we didn’t receive any breaking news today regarding Carr’s contract extension as he answered questions from the media. But, Raider Nation should sleep easy knowing that this deal will get done in the coming weeks. Extending his contract beyond the 2017 season is a deal that both sides want to get done sooner rather than later.
