The 2014 NFL Draft is notable for many reasons, particularly for fans of the Oakland Raiders. They saw their team draft arguably the best defensive player in all of football, Khalil Mack, with the 5th overall pick. And then they saw their future franchise quarterback, Derek Carr, get selected in the second round, 36th overall.
For fans of the Cleveland Browns, however, that draft is famous for other reasons. Cleveland drafted a former Heisman trophy winning superstar QB with plenty of off-field baggage with the 22nd overall pick.
The success of each player and each team since this time goes without saying.
