Derek Carr Named Castrol EDGE Clutch Performer Of The Year

Prior to the New England Patriots dramatic Super Bowl victory over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, the NFL Honors ceremony was held Saturday, and among those to receive an award was quarterback Derek Carr. The Oakland Raiders signal-caller was named the Castrol EDGE Clutch Performer of the Year after leading the team to a league leading seven game-winning drives.

Throughout the season, No. 4 was voted the Castrol EDGE Clutch Performer of the Week more than any other player, and played a key role in the team’s 12-4 record.

Additionally, Carr was also named to his second Pro Bowl at season’s end and tied for third in MVP voting.
