It has come to pass (so to speak) that Derek Carr, in the second game of his sixth NFL season, has taken over as the all-time passing leader in Raiders franchise history. It happened late in the second quarter on a pass to Darren Waller for 16 yards.
Carr came into the season needing just 340 passing yards to overtake Ken Stabler’s Raiders record of 19,078 passing yards.
Carr passed for 259 yards in the team’s season opening win over the Broncos, making it a near certainty this week we would be recognizing him for the accomplishment.
