On a rainy Christmas Eve in Oakland, the Silver and Black treated the home fans to an early Christmas present. It all started with Oakland native Marshawn Lynch lighting the Al Davis torch, and the team took care of the rest sending the Denver Donkeys home with a loss. Forget those who declared that the team should lose to preserve the team’s draft stock, this win was for the TOWN.
I don’t mean to get sentimental, but if that really was the final chapter in what has been an illustrious era in Raider football… it did not disappoint.
