ALAMEDA – It looks more and more like Raiders quarterback Derek Carr is going to play in Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens.
Good news keeps coming from an ugly incident against the Cincinnati Bengals, where he bruised his throwing hand and thumb trying to stiff-arm a defender while run for a first down.
Initial X-rays at O.co Coliseim showed no broken bones, a result confirmed with a second-round later Sunday night. Carr had an MRI on Monday morning that showed no structural damage to the hand.
Swelling decreased considerably between Sunday and the following day, giving the Raiders great hope in his playing status.
