The worst season, record-wise, in the history of the Oakland Raiders franchise came back in 1962, when they won only one game, while losing 13. That season, they set the AFL record for having the lowest winning percentage in the history of the league, but bounced back to win ten games the following season.
That season was the first under Al Davis, who became the youngest head coach in the AFL in 1963. While the 2018 Raiders just may match that 1962 team with only one win, they will not be making a change at head coach, as Jon Gruden is locked into a guaranteed contract for the next nine seasons, and will be paid another $90 million.
