Colin Kaepernick's supporters Thursday night were not limited to teammates such as Eric Reid, the 49ers defensive back who knelt alongside Kaepernick while the national anthem was played in San Diego.
In Oakland, before a game against the Raiders, Seattle Seahawks defensive back Jeremy Lane also declined to stand for the anthem. Lane, a fifth-year player who has been working with the first string, sat on the Seattle bench while his teammates and all of the Raiders stood.The other 13 games on the NFL schedule Thursday night went on without incident. In Philadelphia, Eagles rookie linebacker Myke Tavares stood for the anthem.
