Let’s not kid ourselves; the signing of star defensive tackle Christian Wilkins was the biggest move of the Las Vegas Raiders’ offseason and he should have a huge impact.
The Raiders’ coaching staff is ecstatic about the Wilkins’ signing. But, they are also pleased about about two much lower-profile moves — the re-signings of fellow defensive tackles Adam Butler and John Jenkins in free agency.
While he wakes up every day, grateful that he is coaching Wilkins again, Raiders defensive line coach Rob Leonard is also thrilled that Butler and Jenkins are back.
Both Butler and and Jenkins — who like Wilkins played for Leonard in Miami — signed one-year contracts this year after signing one-year contracts with Las Vegas in 2023.
