Chip Kelly holds first press conference as Raiders offensive coordinator

On Sunday, the Las Vegas Raiders shocked the football world when they hired former Ohio State offensive coordinator Chip Kelly to be their offensive coordinator.

In order to bring the national championship-winning coach to Las Vegas, the Raiders had to shell out the big bucks to bring him over. With $6 million per year, Kelly is the highest-paid coordinator in the NFL.

On Wednesday, Kelly held a virtual press conference for the first time in his new position, fielding questions on what should be expected going forward.

“The history and tradition of this program speaks for itself,” said Kelly on what enticed him to join the Raiders.
