Marcus Peters grew up wearing silver and black and attending Raiders games. But as he got ready to leave the O.co Coliseum on Sunday, he was making a fashion statement. Red shoes, red shirt, red pants.
His color is now red.
“I appreciate that they let my mom and my friends be here with all their red on,” Peters said. “We loved the silver and black but now we love this red and gold.”
All that red made his mother Doreen easy to find in the crowd when Peters wanted to locate her and hand her the ball he intercepted off Derek Carr in the fourth quarter.
