Charles Woodson and Peyton Manning are the last two first round picks of the 1998 NFL Draft to still be playing on Sundays, but despite that long history Woodson had never intercepted Manning throughout the many battles between the two future Hall of Famers. Nearly two decades almost passing by without one of the league’s all-time leaders in interceptions getting one over one of the greatest quarterbacks of all-time in Manning.
That streak ended on Sunday afternoon and in dramatic fashion, as Woodson waited for the perfect time to get his first INT in 18 seasons over Peyton.
