The Raiders are welcoming Rodney Hudson back to the lineup.
Oakland’s stalwart center is active and will play Sunday at Ford Field against the Detroit Lions.
Hudson missed last week’s game after spraining his right ankle in the fourth quarter of the Nov. 8 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, with Tony Bergstrom playing in his place.
Bergstrom performed capably, but Hudson is one of the more irreplaceable members of the Raiders offense and arguably one of their more valuable players.
In other injury news, tight end Lee Smith will sit this one out with a right wrist injury that had him wearing a brace during the week.
