As the Raiders prepare for Sunday’s game in Detroit, offensive coordinator Bill Musgrave is confident in quarterback Derek Carr’s ability to bounce back after an ordinary performance (by his standards) against Minnesota.
Carr completed 29-of-43 passes for 302 yards and two touchdowns in Oakland’s 30-14 loss last Sunday. But Carr also threw two interceptions, the Raiders were held scoreless in the second half and they absorbed their second straight loss.
So, as you might imagine, Carr is eager to get his high-powered offense back on track.
Asked whether he saw anything different in Carr this week, in the wake of the uninspired defeat, Musgrave said, “I think you see a difference in most competitors.
