ALAMEDA -- Veteran receiver James Jones has played with Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers for years. He held offseason practice sessions with signal caller Derek Carr when he was a Fresno State and was his favorite target with the Raiders last year.
That experience qualifies to compare the quarterbacks, and he’s the one who started calling Carr “Baby A-Rod.”
“I’m honored that he would say something like that,” Carr said on Wednesday. “Obviously, Aaron is so accomplished – MVP, Super Bowls, all those kinds of things, and I haven’t done anything near that. I don’t compare myself to him at all.
