ALAMEDA, Calif. -- Expectations are high for the Oakland Raiders this season, with many observers predicting them to go to the playoffs for the first time since 2002. The road to the postseason, though, is one rife with challenges, perhaps no greater opening-week test for a young team on the rise than a trip to New Orleans to face not only one of the most prolific passers in league history, but a familiar face on the sidelines and a unique home-field advantage.
