On March 10, 2016, the Oakland Raider signed Bruce Irvin to a four-year deal. By coming to Oakland, Irvin was reunited with Ken Norton Jr., who just got the gig as the defensive coordinator under Jack Del Rio.
Immediately thrust into the starting lineup, Irvin started all 16 games for the Raiders in 2016, finishing with seven sacks, which was the second highest in his career. Last season, he matched his career-high of eight sacks, which he set as a rookie with the Seattle Seahawks back in 2012.
As he enters the 2018 season, Irvin is one of the best defensive players in the game, and was recently rated as the 85th-best player in the league by the NFL Network.
