Down by eight late in the fourth quarter Sunday, the Raiders drove down to the Browns’ 9-yard line - and stalled there. Derek Carr threw behind Amari Cooper on a 4th-down play that seemed to spell an end to the Raiders’ comeback bid.
“You want to throw up,” Carr said. “You just go to the sideline and pray that you get the ball back.”
The Raiders did get a second chance at the end of regulation in their eventual 45-42 win thanks to a stop by their defense - and a big replay reversal by the officiating crew.
