Even though the Oakland Raiders eventually fell to the Buffalo Bills 34-14 Sunday afternoon, the Silver and Black struck first, capping off an impressive 13-play, 81-yard opening drive with a one-yard touchdown by Jamize Olawale.
Since he joined the Silver and Black, the powerful fullback/running back has quietly gone about his business, and has shown time and again that he’s more than just a bruising lead blocker and special teams contributor.
He might not get a ton of carries – he’s had just five in 2017 – but Olawale routinely makes the most out his chances with the ball in his hands; you can just look at his rushing touchdown from Sunday’s game in Buffalo as proof of that.
