The Oakland Raiders High School “Coach of the Week” program promotes high school football, giving high school coaches and teams the recognition that they deserve.
Each recipient will be awarded a $1,000 donation to the school’s football program from The Oakland Raiders and the NFL Foundation.
Bret Casey, from American High School in Fremont, was named The Oakland Raiders High School “Coach of the Week”. American High School held on for a win over crosstown rival Kennedy High with a final score of 41-34. Going into halftime with a 21-20 lead, the Eagles of American High were able to hold off Kennedy’s comeback bid.
