With the very first reports of Jon Gruden returning as Raiders head coach were accompanying rumors that Rich Gannon would be joining him as QB coach. Wednesday he said clearly that he will not to be taking the position.
Gruden made his weekly appearance on Bay Area radio station 95.7 The Game where he said plainly “I will not be joining Jon Gruden.”
He said he will still be around the team but only in an advisory position.
That means Jon Gruden must look elsewhere to fill the vacant QB coach job.
