The Oakland Raiders High School “Coach of the Week” program promotes high school football, giving high school coaches and teams the recognition that they deserve.
Each recipient will be awarded a $1,000 donation to the school’s football program from The Oakland Raiders and the NFL Foundation.
Week 8
Brad Bowers, from San Leandro High School, was named The Oakland Raiders High School “Coach of the Week.” The San Leandro Pirates pulled out the narrow victory over Oakland’s Bishop O’Dowd High School. With a final score of 21-20, San Leandro’s Junior Wide Receiver had two receiving touchdowns to lead the Pirates to a win.
