ALAMEDA, Calif. -- As observed earlier in the day, the lone Oakland Raiders player to miss practice on Wednesday was offensive lineman Austin Howard, who injured his right ankle in the Raiders’ exhibition finale against the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday.
Howard was seen walking in the locker room on Tuesday with a slight limp and his right ankle heavily taped. He was in a training-camp battle with Menelik Watson for the starting right-tackle position.
