The Austin Hill experiment was a short one. The physical receiver was signed by the Raiders on May 12 and released on Wednesday, the team announced. Knee injuries issues have sapped Hill’s effectiveness and the undrafted free agent didn’t stick around Alameda long.
The Raiders re-signed undrafted receiver Milton Williams III, who was waived for Hill earlier this month.

The Raiders also signed free-agent linebacker Horace Miller who spent last training camp with the Seattle Seahawks and most of the 2014 season on the Carolina practice squad.
