This could all be smoke. Let’s just get that out the way right off the top. Colin Kaepernick’s attorney Mark Geragos was cornered by a TMZ reporter Wednesday and peppered with questions about his client including his NFL future.
As many of you are aware, Kaepernick last played an NFL game in 2016 and has not received interest from any NFL clubs because the former NFC Champion QB chose to take a knee during the playing of the National Anthem to protest police brutality and racial profiling in the justice system. That protest led to other NFL players kneeling as well, including former Pro Bowl teammate Eric Reid who is also now unable to find work at the age of 26.
