Mainly the discussions around Oakland these days have been about the assistants who have been fired or who the fans think should be fired. But let’s flip that around and ponder whether there are any assistants who could be, at some point, on the radar for a head coaching position somewhere.
The first two that would obviously come to mind would be the two Assistant Head Coaches, Mike Tice and John Pagano.
Tice in particular was once given his shot at being a head coach in Minnesota. That lasted five seasons, ending in 2005 and he hasn’t gotten another opportunity since.
