Amari Cooper’s up-and-down rookie season continued with a bad drop on a fourth-down play in the first quarter. The Raiders eschewed sending out Sebastian Janikowski for a 49-yard to go for it on fourth-and-1. Cooper got open, but had a pass go off his hands.
“Of course you want to catch the ball every time as a receiver, but sometimes it doesn’t go that way,” Cooper said. “You just have to bounce back. There was still a lot of time left in the game.”
Cooper finished with four catches for 69 yards and the game’s fateful play also went it way.
