Another former Raiders player was the best in the AAF in league’s second week

With the way some of former Raiders players are lighting up the Alliance of American Football over its first two weeks, it’s a wonder they weren’t able to stick with a team that has done 10-22 over the past two seasons.

Week one it was San Diego Fleet’s Damontre Moore who dominated at his defensive end spot with nine pressures and 1.5 sacks. This week it was Orlando Appolos QB Garrett Gilbert who was named AAF player of the week with 393 yards passing and 2 touchdowns with no interceptions in a win over San Antonio.

Gilbert leads the AAF after two weeks with 620 passing yards and his 4 touchdowns is second in the league.
