Analyst pitches trade for Raiders to land intriguing young quarterback

The quarterback situation with the Las Vegas Raiders has far and away been their most scrutinized storyline this offseason.

New general manager John Spytek made his move earlier this offseason, acquiring Geno Smith in a trade with the Seattle Seahawks. Smith is an excellent veteran option for 2025, but he will turn 35 years old during the season. Needless to say, the Raiders still require a long-term solution under center.

It is never a bad idea for the Raiders to think about the future, but perhaps they do not need to solely pay attention to the draft to find their answer.
