The Oakland Raiders started the day with two picks in the 7th round — no. 242 and and 244. When they went on the clock with their 6th round selection, no. 208 overall, they traded down with the Arizona Cardinals. In exchange for the no. 208 pick, they added picks 221 and 231.
With the 221st pick, which is the third pick in the 7th round, Reggie McKenzie went with Shalom Luani, safety out of Washington State.
The Raiders had visited with Luani 11 days ago, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network:
#Raiders are hosting today ex-American Somoa goal-scoring soccer star Shalom Luani… who also starred as a All-Pac 12 #WashingtonSt safety.
