With their second to last pick of the 2017 NFL Draft, the Oakland Raiders added a running back — Elijah Hood out of North Carolina.
In a conference call shortly after the pick was announced, Hood made it clear he is thrilled to be with the Raiders.
Per Scott Bair of CSN, he is excited to work with Marshawn Lynch:
“Elijah Hood pretty excited to be a Raider, to say the least…said he modeled his game after Marshawn Lynch. Can’t wait to learn from him.”
