An early look at Sunday’s game between the Raiders (6-7) and Packers (9-4) at O.co Coliseum:
The quarterbacks
Quarterback Derek Carr has numbers remarkably similar to Aaron Rodgers. Carr (455-283-62.2-3,313-28-9) threw two more touchdown passes against Denver and with seven over the last three games would break the franchise record of 34 held by Daryle Lamonica. Rodgers (461-282-61.1-3,174-28-5), in a “down” year, has missed deep threat Jordy Nelson this season, out with a knee injury, but remains among the NFL’s elite. He’s also got a Gannon-like ability to escape trouble and either hit receivers downfield or scramble for the first down with 313 yards on the ground.
