Lesley Visser has covered the NFL for 40 years and she sees a glaring omission from the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
No, it’s not Terrell Owens, a former star wide receiver who some say was snubbed from Canton last week. It’s Amy Trask.
The erstwhile Raiders CEO and former right-hand woman to late owner Al Davis deserves to be in Canton, according to Visser.
“As the first and only woman enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, yes, I would like another woman to be honored, but Amy is deserving regardless of gender,” Visser wrote in a CBS Sports column.
