Nate Allen is on the comeback trail.
The Raiders' safety practiced on Tuesday, according to the team's transaction wire.
It was the first day he was eligible to return to practice.
Allen sustained a torn MCL in Oakland's Week 1 loss to the Bengals.
Two days later, the Raiders placed him on injured reserve with a designation to return.
Allen isn't eligible to suit up for a game until Nov. 15 against the Minnesota Vikings.
The Raiders now have 21 days to either activate Allen or shut him down for the rest of the season.
