Former Raiders linebacker Aldon Smith has turned himself in to San Francisco Police, who had a warrant out for his arrest over a domestic violence incident with his fiancee over the weekend.
ABC 7 News, citing unnamed sources, was the first to report that Smith had turned himself in. Smith, who had reportedly checked himself into a rehabilitation facility, was released by the Raiders on Monday afternoon.
Smith was then released on $30,000 bail late Tuesday afternoon.
Smith, 28, was being sought by S.F. police after he fled the scene when his fiancee called 911 on Saturday night.
