Stop us if you’ve heard this before: Former 49ers and Raiders pass-rusher Aldon Smith is relisting his San Jose mansion.
According to Realtor.com, Smith is asking $3.5 million for the 6,400 square-foot residence set on 10 acres. The phrase “follow the bouncing ball” comes to mind.
Smith bought the estate for $1.75 million in 2012, the year he earned First-Team All-Pro honors for his monster season with the 49ers — 19.5 sacks, three forced fumbles and an interception. Even before that standout season Smith began a pattern of troublesome behavior that resulted in a nine-game NFL suspension and his release from the 49ers on Aug.
