Age, stats nothing but numbers for Raiders' Amari Cooper

ALAMEDA, Calif. -- Fred Biletnikoff began his Hall of Fame career with 24 catches for 331 yards and no touchdowns in 1965.

Cliff Branch, whom many see as a Canton snub, started off his career by catching just three passes for 41 yards without a TD catch in 1972.

And Hall of Famer Tim Brown caught 43 passes for 725 yards and five touchdowns in his rookie season of 1988.

No, I’m not saying Amari Cooper is destined to rock a gold jacket and have a bust made of his countenance, but Cooper’s prolific rookie season blew away those of the top three pass-catchers in Oakland Raiders franchise history.
