Raiders offensive coordinator Todd Downing described center Rodney Hudson as “one tough sucker” for playing through a kidney stone last weekend against the Cowboys.
Head coach Jack Del Rio invoked the same word Saturday when asked about Hudson’s status for Monday night against the Eagles.
“It remains a question mark,” Del Rio said. “But, pretty tough guy. I think he’s shown that.”
Hudson played all 66 offensive snaps against Dallas despite the kidney stone, a diagnosis that Del Rio revealed the following day. The center did not practice for two days during the week but returned in limited fashion Saturday and is listed as questionable for the Philadelphia game.
