The Chargers are in the second week of their Organized Team Activities (OTAs), but are doing so without Pro Bowl safety Eric Weddle, who has not reported as a result of mounting frustrations with his contract situation, per Dan Hanzus of ARound the NFL.
The Chiefs are also going through OTAs without the services of their standout safety, as Eric Berry continues his fight against Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Following the first day of the Chiefs OTAs, Head Coach Andy Reid gave an update on the former first-team All-Pro’s health, saying that Berry’s treatment is complete, and he now must meet with his doctors to go over the results.
