While the end of the preseason means the regular season is on the horizon, it also means one of the most dreaded days for coaches and some players is near, and for the Oakland Raiders, they are no different. Two days after the game against the Seattle Seahawks, the Raiders coaching staff will have to trim the roster down from 90 players to 53.
The harsh reality for the 47 players who don’t make the team, is they may never put pads on again.
For players on the fringe of the roster, it’s imperative that they have a good showing during the team’s final preseason game.
