In the lead-up to the draft, Kyler Murray’s height seemed to be different depending on who you asked. The Heisman Trophy winner was listed at 5-9 7/8 in college, which led to some to round down to 5-9. I had even heard some people suggesting he was 5-8.
That’s what happens when you’re not the prototypically QB size of 6-2 and above. You get labeled a shrimp and people get a little crazy about it.
Jon Gruden was, of course, asked this morning about the size concerns with regard to Murray.
“I don’t know what the physical concerns are,” said Gruden.
