It’s day three of the 2019 NFL Scouting combine. Among those groups arriving first were the offensive linemen. Day two saw them get their measurements and today they were the first group to be physically tested.
The one measurable that is discussed most when it comes to offensive linemen is probably arm length. The thinking is that for tackles, the longer arms the better. In this class, one guy’s arm length stood out above the rest. Florida’s Martez Ivey was the only offensive lineman whose arms measured over 36 inches long (36 1/4).
The 6-5 tackle was a big time recruit out of high school, but has not lived up to that billing at Florida.
