With the news of the trade of Khalil Mack in the rearview mirror, we shift our focus to the Oakland Raiders season opener against the Los Angeles Rams on Monday Night Football. Despite Mack’s absence, the Raiders still have a bunch of talent on each side of the ball, and should be very competitive against the current NFC West champions.
As the roster got shaved to 53 men on Saturday, and then all the moves since, we have a pretty good understanding of what the starting lineup should look like against the Rams. The Raiders have good talent returning on offense, and defense, and their special teams, while new, should be able to get the job done this season.
