Overview: For the first time in over a decade, the Silver and Black have their franchise quarterback with Derek Carr leading the offense.
Carr was impressive in 2015, improving his stats across the board in sophomore campaign.
In his second year under center, the Fresno State-product threw for more yards and more touchdowns than he did in 2014, and also saw his completion percentage improve by three percentage points as well, earning his first trip to the Pro Bowl in the process.
For the second-consecutive season, Carr started all 16 games for the Oakland Raiders, but backup signal caller Matt McGloin did appear in two games, completing 23 of 32 passes for 142 yards and two touchdowns in relief.
