The Oakland Raiders released Marquette King on Friday, which was a bit of a shock to the NFL world. King’s personality and that of new head coach Jon Gruden did not mix, and they sent him packing despite the fact he is one of the more productive punters in the league.
With his release, the 2014 draft class are now the longest-tenured players on the current roster. The 2014 draft was a special one for Oakland, as they drafted a couple of players who are cornerstones of their roster heading into the 2018 season.
