The Oakland Raiders wrapped a disappointing 6-10 regular season on Sunday with a 30-10 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers and fired head coach Jack Del Rio shortly thereafter. As such, it figures to be a busy offseason in the Bay Area as the team prepares to move to Las Vegas. Here are all the latest Raiders news & rumors you need to know:
Carr surprised by Del Rio's firing
Many times, players can read the writing on the wall when their head coach is on the hot seat before they get fired. However, that doesn't appear to be the case with the Raiders as quarterback Derek Carr said the team “didn’t see this coming.”
“We were excited to continue to compete,” Carr said. “We were getting ready for what’s next. And for it to be done, that’s crazy. It’s a crazy deal. Us as players, we need to do better. We’ve got to be more accountable. We’ve got to be more demanding, all those things. And we will.”
Del Rio just finished his third season as Oakland's head coach with a 25-23 record, but that includes a 6-10 mark this season. The Raiders were expected to be one of the best teams in the AFC but instead were one of the biggest disappointments in the league, causing the front office to make a change at the position.
Last year, he led the Raiders to their first playoff appearance since 2002.
Latest on pursuit of Jon Gruden
Oakland has turned their full attention to former head coach and current ESPN analyst Jon Gruden, and he's expected to take the job, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
"Jon Gruden is the going to be the next coach of the Raiders," ESPN's Adam Schefter said on SportsCenter Sunday night. "Not a question of if but when."
Oakland's offer to Gruden is expected to include an ownership stake in the team.

Michael Crabtree frustrated by late-season usage
Wide receiver Michael Crabtree led the Raiders in receptions and targets this season, but after being used minimally over the last two weeks of the season, he vented his frustration with his lack of touches.
“I played probably 13 plays, wasn’t in the game plan, so I did what I was supposed to do,” Crabtree said after Sunday's loss. “Every time I went in I did my job. “I done played 60 minutes every time we play. Game winners after game winners, like I do everything they asked of me. These last two games, I probably had three targets, but nobody’s saying nothing about that.
“If I react then I’m a bad guy, you know what I’m saying? Then they asking, ‘Why he ain’t on the field?’ You gotta ask the coach that. I do everything I’m supposed to do. It’s all good. Like I said I’m gonna keep working hard, man. Just be me, you know?”
Crabtree caught 58 passes for 618 yards and a team-high eight touchdowns this season.
