Oakland Raiders third-year offensive tackle Menelik Watson has a new mindset this season.
“It’s night and day for me. Everything just feels right,” Watson told csnbayarea.com. “I’m responding to coaching and my body is working with me. I’m so happy where I am, and I’m really excited to play football and come to work every day.”
A second round pick out of Florida State, Watson hasn't lived up to expectations while dealing with injuries in his two seasons. He's battling with Austin Howard to be the starter at right tackle. Watson has been getting snaps with the starters and is listed as the starter on the Raiders' unofficial depth chart.
