The year-long saga about whether or not the Oakland Raiders will relocate to Las Vegas appears to be nearing its conclusion. According to Vincent Bonsignore of the Los Angeles Daily News, owner Mark Davis impressed the NFL at the owners meetings and will be making a decision/announcement "soon":

ESPN's Jim Trotter said the meetings today were about paving the path for Oakland to move to Las Vegas, largely because the league doesn't believe the stadium situation in Oakland is "salvageable."
Said one source: "The league views SD as salvageable. Oakland is not." Hence, tomorrow's meeting to clear a path for Raiders to Vegas.

Las Vegas has already approved $750 million in public funds for a stadium, meaning the owners just have to approve the move before it becomes official.
