The Oakland Raiders have had to deal with some major injuries during the first 2 weeks of the 2019 NFL regular season, losing Gabe Jackson, Johnathan Abram, Tyrell Williams and Trent Brown. Oakland is set to face off against Kirk Cousins and the Minnesota Vikings, marking Richie Incognito’s first game with the Raiders after his suspension. Despite Trent Brown leaving the Chiefs game with a sore knee, the Raiders are keeping a close eye on Brown but don’t feel the injury is too serious. With Incognito and Brown on the line, it’ll be a big boost for QB Derek Carr.

John Gruden made some major announcements in his press conference on Monday-- namely that Gabe Jackson’s rehab to his MCL was going better than expected. Jackson has been sidelined since August and wasn’t expected to return until week 7. Now the Raiders are saying he is “close” to getting back on the field. Same goes for Josh Jacobs who has been dealing with a groin injury and exited Sunday’s game early with cramping. It’s unclear if he’s at risk for missing this week’s game but Raiders Report host Mitchell Renz says he expects for Jacobs to be suited up and ready to go.
