The Oakland Raiders are 2-2 after Week 4 of the 2019 NFL season following a 31-24 win over the Indianapolis Colts. In this edition of the Raiders Report, host Mitchell Renz hands out his grades for the Oakland Raiders’ Week 4 win in the 2019 NFL season in which the Raiders looked much improved compared to the past couple of weeks.
Derek Carr’s numbers didn’t jump off the screen, but he did what he needed to do in order to seal a Raiders’ much needed win in week 4. He put up 189 passing yards with 2 TDs, while Darren Waller had 7 catches for 53 yards. Waller’s 33 catches through 4 games are tied for the most by a tight end through the first quarter of a season in NFL history. Not to mention, Tyrell Williams had a TD reception for the 4th straight game.
osh Jacobs racked up 79 yards on 17 carries, proving he is the workhorse back in the Raiders’ offense. However, newly signed WR Trevor Davis stole the show with his 63 yard touchdown run on a jet sweep. All-in-all, the Raiders offense looked solid & took care of business vs. the Colts.
On the defensive side, we saw players such as Maxx Crosby, Tahir Whitehead & Daryl Worley ball out, but it was Erik Harris who had the most impressive performance. Harris picked off Jacoby Brissett on the Colts’ potential game-tying drive & returned it for a touchdown, putting this game in the bag.
